I've recently extracted the SIM and Memory Card from a Motorola MB501 and have found the incoming SMS located on the SIM card to state the date and time received with a (+16:00).
Ie: 22/06/2011 3:21:15 PM (+16:00).
Additionally, a photo which was taken with the phone camera located on the memory card has, according to the metadata, an internal creation time exactly one hour before the listed created and modified time.
I do not have access to the phone itself (unknown pattern lock) to check the time and date settings, however I was able to determine that the time and date were accurate to local time based on the pattern lock display of the time/date.
The MB501 (known as both Quench and Cliq) ships with Android 1.5.
Has anyone had any issues with the MB501 recording bizarre time stamps on SMS entries or picture files? Or can anyone explain how (+16:00) is obtained when XRY (version 5.6) extracts data from a SIM card which was contained within an MB501?
The SMS time discrepancy is secondary to determining the problem with the picture file, however I believe both may be related.
