I own a HP G85 All-in-one printer. The printer maintains a record of the last 30 received/sent faxes both on the printer and on the computer. The fax logs of the last 30 faxes received or sent are saved in text files called Received.ini and Sent.ini on the computer. Is it possible to recover the fax logs that have been erased over the 30 fax limit on either the printer or computer? Is there a way to recover older versions of the Received.ini or Sent.ini files? Thanks.

Hi,

Maybe you can dump the Printer memory and you may then need to decode the stuff into human readable format,

the other option would include finding the config where it says the hard limit for sent/rec faxes is = 30.

Just give it a try.

Thanks

i suppose that every printre have a sort of test mode ....

if you find a solution for the dumping, i can help you with the interpretation
