If your looking to just recover your files and things you want, not your programs, try this:
1. Get a new (or used) hard drive and put it in your computer as the primary drive, put your drive with the original files on it in as a secondary drive.
2. Install your OS on the new drive, and once your done, you can access all the files on the old drive. Just transfer over what you want.
Sometimes its good to get a clean start on things. Think of it as a cleaning, not a deletion.. _________________ Commander Chris Wagoner
