Long story short, I disabled my iphone 4s because I changed the passcode and instead of looking at the numbers I used a pattern. (something like 3 down 1 across). I had "self destruct" disabled so I was able to try 20 times (w/ a combined 111 min wait time). Well now it's disabled according to apple I can only reformat it. HA! As bugs bunny would say, "they don't know me very well, do they?"

I've tried a few free programs, Decipher Text Message, and Disk Aid. I may buy Decipher text emssage to get the messages off. but I'd also have to buy their other programs to get other stuff off.

I tried Disk Aid but I keep getting an error when trying to access data other than music and pics. I think it's because the phone is locked/disabled due to wrong passcode.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

If anyone is concerned that I stole the phone, no I did not. It's my phone, and I have been posting all over on different forums trying to figure this out. I use the same username everywhere. (Howard Forums, MacRumours, Apple support, among others.

thanks for any help and/or ideas.

The last backup I did was in September, and after I posted this, realized Decipher Text Message only pulls data from the backup, NOT the phone, so Any of the Decipher Tools software is useless.

Still having an error with DiskAid, I emailed them, got a reply but I haven't gotten a subsequent reply to MY reply yet.

Of course I could just use the backup from September, but I'd lose 4 months of texts/calendar events/notes, etc. Maybe I'm unnaturally attached to my text messages, idk. lol.
